Description

This ideally located town-home is in the middle of all that Historic Breckenridge has to offer with mountain views! It is one block from Main Street with great Eateries, Boutiques, Distilleries, and Breweries. There is so much to do you will want to come back for more!


This unit is Ski-in with Ski-Out-to-the-Gondola as an option to hit the slopes. You can ski the Skiway Skyway IN dropping you at the unit's parking lot and then OUT past Mountain Thunder Lodge, go under the road and catch the free Gondola up to many ski destinations. Besides the Skiway Skyway run there is also the Lower 4 o'clock Run, and the Gondola Ski Back Run which all run near the condo.

The condo is on Ski Hill Road, at the bottom near Mountain Thunder Lodge if you look at a map. You can go online to GoBreck which will have trail maps.

The townhome has a welcoming mountain home decor reminding you that you are in the high country of Colorado. This spacious 1264 sq. ft. unit sleeps 8, so you and 7 of your closest family or friends can gather and make memories together over with space to hang together or spread out over the two floors. The unit is located on levels 2 and three with steps. 

The upper main level has an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings. It's the little things that help to make you feel at home... relax by the cozy gas fireplace in the living room after a fun day outdoors, enjoy any of the 4 TVs, play games, or read a book, all provided for your enjoyment in this townhome. The living room has a sofa bed for overflow should you need it.

Off this gathering room, there is a private balcony with a gas grill, and outdoor seating with mountain and street views.

The upper-level Master Bedroom has a King-size bed, large flat-screen television, a vaulted ceiling, and Ensuite Bathroom which has a jetted tub and a separate shower. You also have a private balcony to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of your room.

The lower level bedrooms offer a queen size bed in one room, with two twin/single beds in the other. Both of these bedrooms have televisions and a shared balcony with mountain views as well as a Full Bathroom with a tub/shower combo.

The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, pots & pans, plates, glasses, dish towels, soap, dish soap, paper towels, etc. The townhome also has its own stackable washer/dryer. We provide the start-up supplies and then like food, you purchase what else you need if they run out. 

There is a hot tub outdoors which is shared with the other condos in this small complex of 16 units. It is located a few steps away from the unit in a private gated area surrounded by pines.

There is also a Free Shuttle Bus just outside the entrance on the street next to the complex that can take you to other lifts or just about anywhere you want to go in Summit County. Or you can drive, park, and pay at several lift parking lots.
Walk to the many activities available in town or take your car from your private heated garage.

Whether you want to come to Breckenridge for some much-needed R & R and want to sit by the fireplace with a good book or you plan on filling your day with the countless activities the area has to offer, you will be glad you have selected Twin Elk for the special place to call your home away from home during your High Country visit.

Notes

Important info for self-check-in: After booking you will get a confirmation email from our company, journeywestcolorado. Three days before your arrival date you will receive another email under the subject Arrival Information, which provides directions and instructions (codes) you will need to access your unit upon arrival. Please plan to check your inbox, or spam/trash folder, before heading our way for this email.

Parking passes will be waiting for you in the Welcome Book. Cars cannot be left on the property before check-in or after check-out.

Mail/packages cannot be sent to this address. We are unable to receive anything for you ahead of your arrival.  You cannot drop-off luggage/gear before check-in, and cannot leave them after checkout. Please plan your visit accordingly. 

House rules: You must be 25 years or older to make a reservation. You must also comply with all statutes, ordinances and requirements of all local, state and federal authorities. No parties, events, loud music, or smoking (of any kind) are allowed inside the premises or outside on patios/decks. A $500.00 fine and/or eviction with no refund may immediately result from violations of these rules.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made 5 or more days before arrival will receive a full refund. If local activities/resorts/venues/amenities (like pools & hot tubs) have canceled or closed, this is beyond our control and will not provide an exception to our Cancellation Policy. Neither will Illness, weather, road closures or canceled flights be just cause for a refund beyond this policy. Upon check-in, you are responsible for all nights reserved.

Check-in time is 4 pm, check-out time is 10 am (with a small checkout procedure list to complete). There will be an $80 per hour charge if you are not out on time. Please plan to leave by 10 AM so we can prepare for the next guest.

All trash must be removed at the end of your stay, in addition to a few other simple tasks in our Departure check-list, which you will find in our Welcome Book. Failure to complete this simple list will result in a charge of $49, or more.
